Village Voices is the best kept secret in the village. It’s your community choir that performs its own concerts about three times a year in the beautiful setting of St Leonard’s, where it meets for rehearsals from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on a Thursday evening. We have a highly experienced and encouraging new conductor. We have a core of local singers of all abilities, but we would welcome new members to get back to pre-pandemic numbers. We follow the latest Government Covid rules as well as addressing any concerns from the members. Why not come along next Thursday and find out for yourself if you fancy a sing with us? Call it a belated new year resolution, if that helps. You can also visit our website to find out more: www.villagevoicessandridge.co.uk

If you don't want to sing with us or can't make Thursday evening rehearsals at that time, that's fine. However, the church is a marvellous building in so many ways for so many people in our community so please come and support your church and your community choir that supports the church building. We have a concert planned for May 28th and we'd love to see you there. There will be some familiar choir numbers in the programme, some audience participation and some amusing party pieces, as in all previous shows by Village Voices. You will enjoy the night and be contributing to an excellent cause. So it'll be a win-win experience. More on the concert will be divulged in future issues. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to know more at this stage, but please keep the date of the 28th May in your diary for a real Sandridge Village treat! We'll save you a seat!!
